10tbspunflavored gelatin(I use Bulletproof Collagelatin)
3tbspraw honey
1tbspvanilla syrup(I make it with 1 C water, 1 C sugar, 2t vanilla extract boiled together.)
Oils & Supplement Mixture
½cupolive oil
¼cupcoconut oil
1tspsunflower lecithin
6tspSunButyrate (by Pure Encapsulations) or MCT/Subutyrate (by Douglas Labs) or 4 capsules of serum derived bovine immunoglobulinsSBI Product names: Mega IGG 2000 (Microbiomne Labs), SBI Protect, or google "dairy free bovine immunoglobulins"
Grease the silicone molds with a small amount of coconut oil, place on a firm cookie sheet or similar support tray (they get flimsy and spill otherwise) and set aside
In a small pot, mix oatmilk (or chosen liquid) with gelatin and let sit for 5 minutes
Heat to just below boiling and remove from heat
Mix in honey and vanilla syrup and put thermometer into mixture
In a separate small pot gently warm the coconut oil on the lowest setting until it's completely liquid. Do not get this hot to the touch since the probiotics need the temperature to be below 100 degrees F to remain viable.
Add olive oil, SunButyrate, sunflower lecithin, slippery elm, probiotic and zinc carnosine capsules and blend well with spoon
When oatmilk/gelatin mixture is 100 degrees F or below, add the oil/probiotic mixture to it stirring until blended well
Pour or use a large dropper to fill the molds with the mixture
Refrigerate for approximately 2 hours or until the sides of the bears pull away easily from the molds.
Place in an opened container or on a large dish to continue to dry out in the refrigerator for another 24 hours
Keep in a closed container or jar for up to seven days in the refrigerator and then freeze thereafter.
They are delicious as is or they can be rolled in pumpkin spice or cinnamon sugar for extra flavor before eating. HEAL & ENJOY!!!
Notes
One serving is approximately 1.5 tablespoons or 3-4 average sized gummy bears.
